A society meeting ๐ค๐ฅ
Apr 27, 2023โญ Not a secret one, though! On March 12-15, more than 900 hundred students, researchers, and industry professionals joined together in Madison, WI, for the annual ASAS Midwest meetings, which featured presentations and discussions related to nutrition, health, genetics, and management. The ultimate goal? To keep driving the animal industry forward!
๐ฌOf course, the feed additive sector was highly represented, especially considering its key role in the industry and the environment. Here’s what AB Vista had to share:
• Phytase (Quantum Blue): research has shown phytase to be an economically advantageous tool to improve sustainability and production efficiency;
• Live yeast (Vistacell): studies have demonstrated the potential of live yeast to help sows better cope with challenges during lactation, allowing them to better maintain their body conditions;
• Fiber digestibility (Signis): investigations on fiber have confirmed improvements in sow productivity through the addition of soluble fiber to feed, such as sugar beet pulp, along with a stimbiotic.
