🐷 In the best way possible, of course – it looks like American pork is all the rage around the globe!! Cheers to you, US swine professional! Let’s take a look at some numbers, shall we?

    •  September pork exports were once again led by Mexico, even though shipments slipped as opposed to the first three quarters of the year and their record pace.

     •  Pork exports to Japan rebounded in September and were 7% higher than last year, despite the devaluation of the yen and increased cost of imports. 

     •  September pork exports to South Korea climbed 40% above last year’s low volume. True enough, Korea recently opened a duty-free quota for imported pork, but competition hasn’t changed much because US pork already enters the country at zero duty.
