Nov 29, 2022📊 Things aren’t looking very bright for the British swine industry… Actually, they’re as bleak as a rainy English afternoon! The cost of UK pig production continues to fluctuate, with the prices of feed, fuel, and energy, and interest rates on the rise.
• Compound spot feed prices may have eased during the summer, but have increased again in September and October. And they’re not alone: short and long-term interest rates have increased too. Fuel prices are fluctuating and energy prices are being maintained – at an elevated level, unfortunately.
