Avoiding confusion โโ ๏ธ
Jun 06, 2023๐ฌ๐ง A research commissioned by the UK's Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) set out to understand shoppers’ behavior towards the competitors of meat: vegetarian and vegan products designed to compete against animal protein.
๐ฅฉ The results? They've found that with meat and meat-free products being mixed together on the market shelves, more than half of the consumers may end up being confused. It doesn't come as a surprise that the majority of shoppers feel meat-free products should be displayed separately from meat products in order to avoid that.
