🐷 After several months of turbulence, Ukraine is seeing a partial recovery of the demand in the pork market among wholesale customers: the last trade in February was marked by a revival of demand and therefore, positive price dynamics. So currently, most Ukrainian pig farmers are seeing a rise in purchases from regular, former, and new buyers.

     • Previously, power outages due to the war had forced slaughterhouses and meat-processing plants to switch to a partial operation, but now most facilities have managed to establish backup power-generating capacities and are back to speed.
