Booming booms 💥

👀🔥 Booms are booming, unfortunately: the annual summary recording nationwide grain dust bin explosions reported nine incidents in 2022 – an increase from previous years. Good news is that despite the increase in explosions, no fatalities were reported. Bad news is that in all of them, grain dust was the fuel, and all conditions needed for a grain dust explosion are present in most grain feed, milling and processing facilities. That is to say it’s extremely important to provide guidance as well as develop and implement a detailed housekeeping program to mitigate the hazards.
