🇩🇰📃 Better late than never! After a long wait, a much anticipated PRRS order has come into force this month (May) in Denmark. According to the country's Pig Research Center, all producers with more than 10 sows or more than 100 pigs in total are now required to follow the new state-funded program by ensuring that they know the health status of their herd along with updating data that indicates the number of their pigs and their veterinarian.

The whole point of this is to have 85% of all sow herds in the country and 75% of all finishing pigs free of PRRS by 2025. Curious? The details can be found here.
