Calculating the fiber and the benefits 🧮

🐖 Today, sows farrow more piglets per litter than ever before! However, the number of baby pigs isn't the only thing that increases: the need for resources does too. Nutrition is an example: better understanding of sow nutrition is a must, since dietary fiber levels during sow gestation play an important role in maximizing their performance parameters and yielding healthier pigs.

💡 In that sense, research shows that adding total dietary fiber (TDF) to feed can benefit both sows and piglets in numerous ways.
