🇷🇺 If only we were talking about pork… but what’s raw is the deal that Russia claims they’re getting! This week, the Kremlin said the outlook for the landmark UN-brokered Black Sea Grain deal was not great: the promises to remove obstacles to Russian agricultural and fertilizer exports haven’t been fulfilled, so that’s a no-no (check out previous news on the issue here).

     • The agreement, an attempt to ease the global food crisis that followed the Ukrainian-Russian war, is due to expire next month – the countries are two of the most important producers of agricultural commodities in the world. 

👀 While no sanctions have been placed on Russia's food and fertilizer exports, Moscow says they are compromised by obstacles nonetheless and wants to see a clear path if the deal is to be renewed – see more about this here.
