🇨🇦🏥 Twenty workers at a pork slaughterhouse run by Fearmans Pork Inc. in Burlington, Ontario (Canada), have been taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure after an ammonia leak. The gas is used at the plant as a refrigerant and enough of it was released to prompt the fire department to respond – since inhalation can be lethal.
