🇷🇺 According to the head of the Russian veterinary watchdog Rosselhoznadzor, Ukraine has been hiding African Swine Fever (ASF) and Avian Influenza outbreaks – he is concerned that Ukrainian refugees will bring the veterinary problems to Europe.

     • This is not the first time something like this has come up: in 2022, he linked a series of outbreaks in some European countries to a wave of refugees triggered by the Russian-Ukrainian war.

🇺🇦 However… is it all really true? Ukraine is yet to respond to the declarations, but during the past year, officials have been warning that the Russian government was trying to spread false information about the Ukrainian reality with the goal of weakening Western support of Kyiv.
