Finally making some sense 🤔

📃 The US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has announced an updated Veterinary Services form 16-4. This is good because, under the previous language of the form, all animal food manufacturers would be barred from exporting animal-based products should a foreign animal disease outbreak occur in the country – now that’s no longer a concern.

     • Before the change, a poultry-based product could be barred from being exported because of a swine-based foreign animal disease – which makes zero sense! Thankfully, that insanity is no longer plausible. Find details here.
