🇪🇺🇷🇴 Romania may not have enforced a ban on Ukrainian products in its territory. However… The European Commission will do it for them! Grain and oilseed exports from Ukraine to the country will be banned – as a way to protect the country – and the EU will offer compensation to its farmers.

     • With restricted access to its own Black Sea ports, Ukraine has had to find alternative shipping routes through neighboring states. However, the fact that its food exports are much cheaper than those produced in the EU has led some Central and Eastern Europe to take measures to protect their farmers. See more details here.
