Lab-grown meat (and future?) 🧪🥩

🇺🇲✅ Two different companies have received a final approval from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to sell lab-grown meat, paving the way for the nation's first-ever sales of the product and cultivating the culture of cultivated meat (!). Their chicken meat still doesn't have an exact date to hit the plates, but they're working on one.

🔎 With the approvals (the meat is safe to eat!), our country will become the second one after Singapore to allow the sale of cultivated meat, which is derived from a sample of livestock cells that are fed and grown in steel vats inside labs.
