The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB), in partnership with the industry, is aiming to transform the online shopping platforms of supermarkets across the UK

 

  • The easier, the better, huh? Latest research shows that more households in the UK are switching to online shopping and having their groceries delivered to their homes. 

 

But it seems red meat isn't reaching its full potential...

 

So here’s a list of recommendations for retailers: 

 

  • Include mock-up pages on their websites that feature messages to promote the taste and reputation of red meat. 

 

  • Include new graphics, with animations and embedded videos, to convey important messages on health, animal welfare, and sustainability, to reassure shoppers of their online purchases and increase red meat sales.

 

  • Ensure the product page informs by using the most detailed information on recipes, production methods, and product credentials.
