The color of money and sustainability 💸♻️

💰🌱 It’s funny how dollar bills and tree leaves share the same colors, isn’t it? Indeed, money and sustainability have more than just green in common: they need each other. That’s why Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has announced that the USDA will be investing $40 million in 31 projects funded through the Conservation Innovation Grant program and $19 million in two projects funded through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program – all of which have the potential to spur innovative solutions for climate-smart agriculture.

     • According to him, addressing climate change is a tremendous challenge and agriculture plays an important role, so it’s great that there are many partners out there willing to work to mitigate climate change, conserve and protect our water, enhance soil health, and create economic opportunities for producers.
