🐷 Forget about the fancy home decor TV shows, the housing pens of Brazilian swine are the ones rocking with their interior design! In 2022, 62.9% of the entire herd of Brazil’s largest processors was housed in group pens – which results in more welfare for the animals (yay for the companies!). 

     • Last year, the adoption level was 52.8%. So it’s important to recognize these advances and encourage companies to maintain the deadlines stipulated to meet requirements that, according to the Brazilian Normative Instruction approved in 2020, will be mandatory as of 2045 for all commercial pig farmers.
