Meet the guest: Dr. Trevisan obtained his DVM diploma in the veterinary faculty of Lages, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, in 2009, and his MBA in Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil, in 2013. From 2010 to 2017, he worked as a full-time veterinarian for JBS foods in an integrated system with an emphasis on swine animal health and production management. From 2017 to 2020, he did his Ph.D. at Iowa State University under the supervision of Dr. Linhares. Since 2020, he has served as a post-doc research associate in the Department of Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine at Iowa State University. He focuses on the applied use of veterinary diagnostic test results and epidemiology concepts to make informed decisions for disease prevention and control.
