👩‍💻 Workforce is running short… And in times of labor shortage, the expectation is that the adoption of technology in livestock operations will accelerate.

     •  The question of whether technology is the answer for improved animal care was addressed at the Saskatchewan Pork Industry Symposium 2022, in Saskatoon. 

🌎Around the world, there’s a real divide between newer and older facilities that depends on labor availability, resources, and infrastructure. But generally, farms are becoming quite sophisticated and seem to have embraced technology quite well. 

      •  So basically, we should be looking forward to higher levels of adoption of technology as it evolves and producers look for solutions to labor shortages.
