The Birds
Jul 20, 2022Other than being a classic movie by Hitchcock, the birds will also be a thing for the global meat market. Worldwide meat exports are expected to grow 3% by 2031, and most of them will be poultry and are expected to make up two-thirds of the additional meat imports into Africa.
- In the African continent, consumption will outgrow the expansion of domestic production.
The two largest meat exporting countries, Brazil and the U.S., are expected to increase to around 40% of these exports worldwide.
- Brazil is expected to record by far the largest increase in world meat exports.
As for imports, the Asian region will be responsible for 51% of them by 2031, and the largest centers will be Korea, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
