Time is of the essence ⏳

🇺🇲📃 The sooner, the better: the US Supreme Court may announce a decision relatively soon on the controversial Proposition 12. Remember the case? The Californian law was approved with more than 68% of the votes, but the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) and the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) have sued, arguing it violates the constitution.

🤞 If the Court rules in favor of California, the legislation will open doors to a much larger arena of regulatory authority… So it’s not only the swine industry that’s hanging on the balance – the whole ag sector is! Let’s hope a decision comes soon, and let’s hope it’s a reasonable decision *fingers crossed*.
