Up in the grains 🌾

🇺🇦 Ukraine's grain exports have reached 5.1 million tonnes in March compared to 1.4 million tonnes in the same period last year – among about 12.8 million tonnes of wheat, 22 million tonnes of corn, and 2.27 million tonnes of barley. 

     • The rise came as a consequence of the Black Sea Grains Initiative, since Ukraine is a major grain producer and exporter but Russian hostilities have been largely responsible for falls since 2022. Click here for more.
